About Arnie
Meet Arnie! A playful, cuddly, and irresistibly soft-furred charmer! Born on August 30, 2023, Arnie is the quintessential frisky and gorgeous-natured kitten. Cloaked in an enchanting grey and white coat adorned with patches of faint ginger, his big beautiful eyes twinkle with youthful vivacity and playful intrigue.
His zest for life is reflected in his appreciation for tunnels and boxes: these are his favorite playthings! Let him loose and watch as he pushes his tunnel around, enthusiastically creating his own indoor adventure.
He also has a fondness for boxes, finding the simple joy in jumping into them and, of course, satisfying his kittenish whim to chew. Adding to his kitten charm, he has an endearing habit of carefully storing his favorite toys in the tunnel for safekeeping.
Arnie's adventurous spirit isn't phased by the unexpected. Unfazed by loud sounds or the bustling vacuum cleaner, this curious little guy takes it all in stride.
His favorite spots around the home are those blessed with a sunbeam - the perfect place for a warm nap. When not soaking up the sun, you'll find him exploring his tunnel fortress or hidden among the boxes he so adores. By nightfall, Arnie closes his day by snuggling up in bed for a cozy sleep-in, perfect for the family that enjoys cuddle time with a fluffy companion.
A sociable bundle of joy, Arnie is a perfect companion for kids. He relishes interaction with his human friends and is extraordinarily patient with children. Currently living with a six-year-old, he is comfortable being manhandled and loves naptime on a warm, cosy lap. In his foster home, this charming furball has grown into a confident, happy kitten, eager to explore his environment and immerse himself in his surroundings.
Arnie would be an ideal fit in a family home with children and other pets. His explorative and playful nature would flourish amidst playful activities and the thriving presence of family members. Adoption details
ADOPTION PROCESS:
1. An Adoption enquiry should be made via
https://form.jotform.com/shellys.place.rescue/adoption-enquiry
2. Once your application has been received, one of our volunteers will contact you for a phone interview. This is to determine whether one of our cats or kittens will be a good fit for your home. We all want long-term success in placing rescue animals, so finding the best fit for the animal AND the family is very important.
3. 'Meet & Greet' with the animal and their carer will then take place if the application is approved.
4. A property check will take place via a video. Once this has been successfully completed, adoption paperwork finalised and the adoption donation processed, the pet can be collected from foster care.
5. A 14 day settling-in period commences once the animal has been collected from foster care.
6. Adoption is finalised after 14 days. Paperwork/records will be included in an adoption pack.
7. All animals will be rehomed desexed, 1st vaccinated, microchipped and treated monthly for fleas and intestinal worms. Once the adoption is finalised, the new owners are responsible for all vaccinations and preventative treatments.
