About Milo
My goodness, how gorgeous is this little boy!!!
Milo is everything you could wish for in this Poodle Cross Breed. He has the super sweet nature of the Cavalier and wants to cuddle anything at moves. He is safely in foster care at the moment and has been learning all about inside manners, walking nicely on the lead and basic obedience. He is toilet trained and travels well in the car.
He is social with other dogs and would be suitable as either an only dog or as a second dog. He has met young children and is happy to interact with them.
Milo is a happy, confident, outgoing boy who is ready for a big life that involves lots of love and outdoor adventures. He currently weights around 8kg and is still growing. This boy is looking for a home where the adults have the time and energy to make him a priority in their daily life.
Here is an update from his wonderful "Foster Carer":
Milo is a loving little Cavoodle.
He will crawl onto your lap and wrap his front paws around your neck for a cuddle. He is also happy to binge watch TV beside you on the couch and sleep happily beside you on your bed at night. Belly rubs are essential.
He is fairly well toilet trained if allowed access to outside at all times. Does not like the dark outside at night though so a light left on for toileting outside would be good. In saying that – I live on acreage so he may be okay on a small suburban block with street lighting shining in.
Very playful – will bring back the ball or toy. Zoomies around the yard is fun especially if playing with the children.
He is very good with children who are kind and not too rough. He will happily hop into bed with them for story time and get them up for school in the morning.
He eats well – loves his meat, beef, pork, chicken and vegs and dry food. He enjoys fruit and cheese, given as a treat only. Apple, watermelon, rockmelon.
He is well behaved, a quick learner and has basic commands- sit, stay, stop, down, walkies.
He gets on well with small dogs - to date he has not had any interaction with larger dogs or with cats to date.
A great alarm system who barks if someone is walking past the house.
If you can’t find him – turn around, your second shadow will be behind you ready to go wherever you go".
He will only be available to homes in Queensland. If you can offer this boy an awesome future, please answer the questions below and email them to re.grant@yahoo.com.au

I look forward to receiving your application. Here is a description of the Adoption process after applications are received:
1. After carefully reviewing applications, I will make a shortlist of 2-3 applicants who best match the dogs needs. Only these applicants will be contacted for further information. I often receive numerous applications for any one dog(especially if it’s young and healthy) so contacting everyone is just not viable.
2. Those shortlisted applicants will then be contacted no later than two weeks from the date of application. If you have not been contacted by the two week mark, then assume that you have not been shortlisted.
3. Shortlisted applicants will be asked to provide a Vet and Grooming reference. This means that with the applicants permission I will contact their Vet and Groomer(if they have used one) to see how well they have looked after any current or past dogs.
4. I then conduct viewings with the few applicants that have excellent references to see if they like the dog and visa versa. This is usually around 1-3 potential families.
5. Once I have chosen an applicant, I conduct a “Fence Check” to ensure that the property is secure. If both parties are comfortable to proceed then adoption takes place. There is a two week trial period where adoptive parents can return the dog and receive a full refund if it doesn’t work out.
6. Milo will be adopted with the following : Current Vaccination Certificate, Sterilisation Certificate, Microchip Details. Adoption fee is $1250
7. My adoption process is very thorough as I am committed to finding the very best home that suits each dogs needs and quirks. Rest assured I’m doing the very best I can to make excellent decisions. If you miss out on a dog, I keep all applications in the hope that another suitable dog will become available soon.
This process may seem like over kill, but many surrendered dogs have often come from a less than ideal situation, and it’s my responsibility to do everything in my power to ensure that their future is absolutely fantastic!!!
Have a great day
