Greetings, I’m Wahine.

Do you prefer a quieter life? OMG SAME! Everything’s so noisy, isn’t it? It would be great if we could just all dial it down a bit!

I’m a gentle and polite little lady who finds things a little overwhelming at first. I’m still adjusting to life at Greysland, but my ideal home will, of course, be a calm, quiet one. Do you have dogs? They make me a bit nervous but I’m ok with the smaller ones. And as for children, I need them to be a little older please.

Once I’ve settled into my new life, I’m sure my confidence will grow. But if you could try to give me a hand with this, I’m sure to really come out of my shell – albeit quietly.

Our matchmakers go to greyt lengths to match each hound with the right family to make sure everyone's happy, and you'll become part of a wonderful rescue community with lots of support along the way!

All hounds are desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, flea and worm treated, and heartworm tested/treated. The adoption fee also includes our New Adopter Kit - collar, leash, muzzle and loads of other goodies to help you get your new hound settled into the family.
