Reggie - 2 Year Old Maltese X (Trial)

Reggie is just a bundle of cuteness. He has not had the best start to life and as a result is shy at first and is learning how to sit and have cuddles and the benefit of a good tummy rub. He loves to give kisses and is very affectionate. He is a beautiful gentle soul and gives a massive tail wag when he thinks pats or treats are on offer.

He does suffer some anxiety when in new environments or around new people. He needs someone kind and patient to put the time and love in to showing him how to live a full and fun life.

Reggie is not a barker, and being in foster care in Medowie, has been exposed to loud noises with low flying jets and they have not bothered him.

Reggie is toilet trained and will let you know when it is time to go outside. He is hesitant to try the doggie door, but he does sleep through the night without the need to go outside.

Reggie will need regular grooming as his hair will grow long. He sleeps on his foster carers bed, but you would not know he is there.

Reggie has had no training prior to coming in to care, so would benefit from going to puppy school. He is currently hesitant to walk on a lead, he would need patience and encouragement with this.

He is not dog reactive and is currently living with two small fur siblings. Because of Reggie’s past, he would be suited only as an only dog, or with a gentle dog of similar or smaller size only. He weighs 7.1kg. He is untested on cats and pocket pets or with young children.

Reggie just wants to be the centre of your world and to have you bring him up to speed to what it is supposed to be like to be a 2yo dog.

Reggie is not available for interstate adoption due to anxiety.

Reggie is in foster care in Medowie, NSW. He is not available for adoption interstate. His adoption fee is $700 and he is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, and microchipped.
