About Tillie
Hello, meet Tillie! This adorable 1-year-old Kelpie X definitely knows how to keep her human companions entertained. Tillie's already got a few tales to tell in her short life, and now she's ready for a fresh chapter with a new, loving, adventure-filled family.
Our witty and expressive Tillie is always ready for a new quest, whether it's outsmarting the most intricate doors or unearthing hidden treasures in the backyard. Her energetic, adventurous spirit coupled with a few basic commands she knows are sure to make everyday activities just a little bit more exciting.
Tillie is swift in learning obedient manners. Her curiosity and commitment to practice every day ensure she's improving each step of the way.
Tillie isn't your regular pup, her exceptional talent lies in expressing her cheerful and lovable persona through vocalizations. We like to call her our 'talking dog'! Her charming range of sounds let you know when she's elated, content, or just in the mood for a playful giggle.
Tillie's love and craving for human companionship shine brightly. Although she can be shy and overwhelmed in unfamiliar spaces, don't worry. Soon she finds herself at ease, revealing that she's nothing but a loving, gentle girl who cherishes company from people of various ages and sizes! She gets along great with other dogs and loves a playful chase around.
Keeping up with the active Kelpie lifestyle, Tillie needs regular exercise and mental stimulation. Full of youthful energy, she loves a good walk, learning games like fetch, and her special love for puzzle games keeps her intrigued. After a fulfilling day, she loves to snuggle up on the couch for some rest and relaxation.
Her prospective family should ideally have some experience with active breeds like her. A little patience, and a strong belief in positive reinforcement training would go a long way in helping her become the best furry companion she can be.

Adoption details

PLEASE DO NOT CALL US!**
We are a volunteer run organisation, who have their own jobs during the day, we don't have someone manning our phones 24/7, therefore cannot respond to all inquiries immediately.
Please be patient with us, as the unpredictable nature of rescue may prevent us from clearing all enquiries regularly.

We only consider applicants that have completed our adoption application form. The fastest way to have your questions answered is to include it in the application form. This will speed up your application with us, and help us communicate with you faster.
OUR ADOPTION PROCESS
1) Email and ask for an adoption application to be sent on farmdogzrescueinc@gmail.com
2) Check your SPAM FOLDER
3) Be sure to include any questions you may have on our adoption form.
4) This form does not obligate you to adopt, it simply gives us an idea of your situation and needs.
5) If you are successfully shortlisted, one of our volunteers will contact you to organise a time for you to meet the dog in question.
6) A home visit will need to be conducted.
7) Should all go to plan, you will be welcomed to start your 2-4 week trial period immediately.
8) The adoption fee will be required to be paid at the beginning of the trial period.
9) During the first week 2 week trial period, we encourage you to follow all our instructions to ensure the dog settles into your family structure.
10) If during the trail period you should need any assistance or you decide that this dog is not for you, you MUST contact our state adoptions coordinator ASAP. (The more notice the better, to ensure we have a foster carer available.)
Please note if the decision is made for you to return the dog for you to receive your payment you will, within 10 business days of the return of the dog.
