About 9379 - Binx
💙💙 MEET BINX 💙💙
Hi, I’m Binx and I’m looking for a family to call my own, could that be with you?
Nature
I am a lovely boy, albeit I was a bit shy when I initially came into foster care. With time and patience I’ve learned to chill quite nicely! I absolutely love toys and chilling on the bed.
It did take me a few weeks to warm up to my new surroundings when I first came into foster care, so patience and understanding is essential from my new paw-rents. Once I feel safe bump boops will be a common occurrence, I love a good pat and will reward with the biggest purrs!
Companions (Children, Cats & Dogs)
I live with two doggies in my foster home, I haven’t met them yet so I’m not sure how I’d go with dogs.
There are also a few other kitties in my foster home, I love them all so a cat friend or two in my fur-ever home is an absolute must please.
My Foster Mum doesn’t know if I’ve ever met kiddies, so maybe older ones would be OK.
Likes / Dislikes
I get fed wet food morning and night. What a treat that is getting regular meals served up on a platter! I also love a soft fluffy bed to chill
My PURR-fect home would be one where you can allow me the time I need to adjust to my new surroundings, a spare bedroom to chill in initially would be awesome and I’d love a furry pal as a bestie if you have one.

9379 - Binx
Gender: Male
Breed: Domestic Short Hair
Colour: Black
DOB: 25/02/2023
Adoption Fee: $0 due to medical notes
*Binx’s adoption fee includes vet check, sterilisation, vaccination, microchip, flea and worm treatment
Medical Notes: Binx had cat flu, which is a respiratory infection. He was treated for this and given the all clear by the vet.
Binx has previously been infected with Feline Infectious Peritonitis
(FIP) which is a viral disease in cats caused by Feline Coronavirus. Up to 80% of the cat population is exposed to Feline Coronavirus, however only about 5% of Feline Coronavirus positive cats mutate to FIP. Binx has been treated for FIP with newly available medication. The treatment was an 84-day course, followed by an 84-day observational period, which has been completed. A complete blood count and full chemistry panel bloods have been run on Binx and all levels are normal, and the vet has advised he is now considered FIP recovered. Due to the experimental nature of the drugs, long-term side effects are not known. The recurrence rate of FIP is also unknown and can occur.
