About Lucy
Introducing Lucy, our radiant 13-week old German Shepherd mix pup. This vivacious young lady embodies the positivity and exuberance of youth. Lucy will bring the sunshine into your life with her outgoing and playful nature, and her vibrant personality is a breath of fresh air.
Arguably, one of Lucy’s most delightful traits is her amiability. She gets along extraordinarily well with other dogs, incredibly tolerant and patient. But don't let her love for other canines fool you: Lucy wasn’t overly interested in the feline company, indicating she would be comfortable in a multi-pet home.
Brimming with encouragement, Lucy has a firm inclination towards treats and pats, making her ideal for training. As a young dog, she will need some basic training to help her fit perfectly into family life. While she currently pulls and jumps a little on the leash, she eventually settles down for a calm walk. She is quick to learn and seems to have impressive recall capabilities already. Her tendency to jump up and gently mouth your hand is nothing her new family can't nudge into a more suitable greeting over time.
It's clear that Lucy would thrive best in an active home with plenty of playtimes and a yard to explore. As she's full of energy and curiosity, a family willing to invest time into her training will be rewarded with a loyal, fun, and loving furry friend. With Lucy, every day promises adventure, laughter, and unconditional love. If her sparkling personality fits the type of companion you've been looking for, Lucy would be delighted to meet you!

Adoption details
Our adoption process is easy. You will receive a application for the animals you are interested in. Please full that in and send it back to us.
Even though you may be first to message, this does not always guarantee you will be chosen to adopt. By no means do we run on a "first in, first served basis". We aim to ensure that our animals are adopted into the most suitable home for them and the new family.
With all our animals, we go on what our vet has told us and what we believe the breed and age to be. We never guarantee the breed or age but take the best educated guess.
Please note: Our shelter is located in the Snowy Mountains. We are a 5 hour drive from Sydney and Melbourne and 2 to 3 hours from Canberra.
