Hello there! I'm Jasper, a confident little guy, full of love and adventure! I'm part of the Rocky Litter (Precious Gemstones). My mum, siblings, and I somehow found our way to a Central Queensland pound and our time was ticking away with every passing day 😭 Lady Luck and SCA were on our side though – we got out JUST in time! We didn't let the scariness of the pound or the long road trip stop us from showing just how wonderful we are! I've been absolutely thriving since being in care, as it means I am in a safe and loving environment 💗

As a gemstone, Jasper is a special type of quartz which is often found in a brilliant red! It features striking bolts of colour throughout the stone - very much like my beautiful tabby markings throughout my handsome red fur!

I'm fantastic with people (the big humans and the tiny ones), other cats, and even with friendly dogs when my personal space is respected. I'm the type of guy who is friends with everyone, and will let little people pick me up, flop in their arms, and just go with the flow.

I'm never too far away from you and will let you know when I'd like attention as I'll give you a little meow when I'd like a cuddle! At night I like to snuggle up in bed with you too. I have this adorable quirk where I will try to suckle (it brings me comfort!) so I definitely need a blankie for this one.

I'm a playful young man, keen for exploring the nooks and crannies of the house and playing alongside all the other cats! I love to stay active, play with the cat toys, zoom around, and keep you fully entertained.

Like everything else I do, I eat my food with gusto! I am a chatty boy and will ask (definitely *not* beg and plead) for food - you'll have to stay strong so I don't end up overweight, as that wouldn't be good for my health! I am great with drinking my water and I use the litter tray like a gentleman.

I've seen the vet for desex, vaccinations, and microchipping, and I've been told I'm a healthy young lad! So now I'm ready to find a place to call my home!
