Hiya everyone! My name is Citrine, and I'm a cuddly little lovebug! I'm part of the Rocky Litter (Precious Gemstones). My mum, siblings, and I somehow found our way to a Central Queensland pound and our time was ticking away with every passing day😭 Lady Luck and SCA were on our side though – we got out JUST in time! We didn't let the scariness of the pound or the long road trip stop us from showing just how wonderful we are! I've been absolutely thriving since being in care, as it means I am in a safe and loving environment. 💗
My namesake gemstone, Citrine is a beautiful stone with warm hues of light golden amber. This gem often has inclusions that reveal gorgeous patterns when you hold it up and admire it in the sunlight. It's really pretty, just like me and my handsome fur coat!
I'm a super snuggly, incredibly loving little guy. I'm always keen for attention and will climb up onto your lap, smooch my face against you (kitty kisses!), and settle in for a comfy cuddle nap. I'm a good kitty with the human children too and will happily cuddle, flop when they pick me up, and play gently.
Cats and dogs can be my pals too! I can be pretty playful like any other kitten and adore playing with toys and wrestling with other cats. I'm fond of napping in a kitty pile with the others too. I really liked a small dog that I met, as they were mindful of my boundaries and we got along well, so I'm sure I'd get along with your polite doggo if you have one!
My personality quirk is that I love water! Having a shower? I'm in (literally). Need help remembering to put the toilet lid down? I'll be ya man! I'd love a cat fountain at home, as even though I am great with drinking my water from a bowl, running water really engages me!
I eat well for a growing kitten and will politely wait until dinner time. I'm the type of cat whose main love and primary motivator is receiving attention, so I'll finish our cuddle before I wander over to the food bowl. I've been litter trained and am quite a tidy boy with it too. I have seen the vet, passed all my health checks, been desexed, vaccinated, and microchipped, and now I'm ready for adoption!

Medical notes
My mum tested negative for FIV/FeLV and we have all been inside only kitties since. I should be kept inside or in an enclosure to keep me (and the wildlife!) safe and healthy.

All applications will be assessed for suitability and compatibility. Approved adoptions will commence with a two week trial, after which time the adoption will be final and the microchip will be transferred to you.
All of our cats will be sent to their furever homes fully vaccinated, desexed, microchipped, parasite free and ready to become part of your family!
PLEASE NOTE THAT WE DO NOT CONDONE ROAMING CATS - when applying to adopt our cats, we expect that they will be kept as indoor cats only and/or have a suitable outdoor enclosure.
