About Ginger
Ginger is the sweetest smoochy moochy Kelpie girl, always keen for a cuddle and a belly rub!
Miss Ginger found herself in a bit of a pickle when upon being rescued from a rural pound at 10 months of age, it became apparent that she had arrived into foster care with 8 little surprise packages on board!
So she became 'Mumma Ginger' about 3 weeks later and has been busy raising her beautiful Kelpie babies since then! Now that they are ready to find their own way in life, it's Ginger's turn to also find her perfect forever home. ♥
Ginger is a beautiful soul, who sometimes appears to be very serious but then will do something quirky and funny and the typical young Kelpie spirit shines through! She makes a wonderful 'Working From Home' buddy as she is generally quite content curled up in her dog bed next to you while you work.
She loves her doggie pals and gets along very well with every dog, of any age, she meets. She has a fairly submissive and easy going, albeit fast paced at times, play style. She is besotted with her 6yr old Kelpie foster brother and, when not playing chasey, they are often found cuddled up together snoozing. A resident dog or two of similar breed and energy levels would be ideal in her new home.
She is curious about the resident cat but has made no move to chase him. She does however love stalking and chasing birds out of the back yard. Ginger has been around children with no issue but still may be a little bouncy for really young kids. She is not suited to inner city or apartment style living and requires a decent sized yard for her to be able to explore and do some crazy zoomies in!
She is a clever girl and aims to please. Her basic training and manners are lovely and she will only continue to impress with more training and guidance. Although she has been a great Mum she is still a young teenager herself and has some growing up to do!
If you are looking for a beautiful, sweet, energetic and clever cuddle bunny - then do not delay - apply today!
