About Po
If you’re looking for your new best friend, then you must read on!
Po is a gorgeous little girl who is looking for a best friend of her very own. This sweetheart loves her people and is friendly with everyone that she meets. Po is a true little companion who just wants to be around you. She loves to hop up on the chair or couch next to her foster carer, or she will find the closest bed to snuggle up in nearby. Po loves to be petted and cuddled, and she will return your love with some sweet little kisses. Whenever you look at her, you are met with her big brown eyes, big ears and a very waggy little tail – she just makes your heart melt!
Po currently weighs a teeny tiny 2.6kg and is a very well-behaved dog around the home. She is toilet trained and crate trained. She loves hopping into her covered crate for a nap and sleeps there throughout the night without a peep. But let’s be real – I’m sure she would love to sleep on the bed next to you if that was on the cards! Po travels well in the car in the front seat and she loves to join her foster carer on outings or errand trips in the car. She walks really nicely on the lead and is able to walk past other dogs, people, traffic and whatever else is around with confidence.
We are looking for a new family who is going to make Po the center of their world and have her as the only dog. She is currently living with other animals in her foster home, but we don’t think this is something that she is used to, and she would be more comfortable if she didn’t have to share her space or your attention. If you have friends with dogs, then Po is more than happy to go walking alongside other dogs and hang in their company, but she would not be suited to off-lead dog environments (unknown dogs rushing up into her space would be overwhelming for her).
Po is best suited to an adult only home, and she would love for someone to be home more often than not. Her current foster carer works full time and she initially complains but then curls up into her bed for a nap until they get home. While she copes with this ok, we feel she would be much happier if she had company more often. We’d like to avoid placing her in a unit though so that she doesn’t upset anyone while settling into her new home and routine. Po really enjoys her walks and will need walk each day for at least 20-30 minutes; however, she would be happier to trot along for even longer. She is quite a strong and muscular little girl who is in good shape.
If you would like to make this gorgeous little girl a part of your family, the please complete a Dog Adoption Enquiry form on the Fetching Dogs website as the first step. Don't see a breed attached to one of our dogs? That's because we don't breed label dogs of unknown genetic history. We can't guess at breeds but that's okay, because we can tell you about the dog's individual personality, character, and behaviour.
