About Boris - Located in Preston
Hey there, lovely humans!
I'm Boris, the most dashing and delightful feline you'll ever meet. Let's talk about my looks, shall we? I mean, come on, have you ever seen such a handsome face? My soft fur is practically begging to be stroked and admired. I've got that "pet me" vibe down pat, if I do say so myself.
But hey, it's not all about the looks—though they certainly don't hurt! I've got a heart of gold and enough cuddles and purrs to go around. Seriously, once I cozy up to you, you won't want to let me go. And when I'm not busy cuddling, you'll find me chasing toys or snoozing in a sunbeam.
Now, let's talk grooming. Yep, I'll admit it, I like to keep my fur looking fabulous. That means regular brushing sessions to keep me looking sharp. But hey, it's not just about vanity—it's also about bonding with my new best friend. So grab that brush and let's get grooming!
Speaking of best friends, I'm all about spreading the love. Whether it's cuddling up with another friendly cat or smooching with a gentle dog, I'm down for some furry companionship. But hey, if it's just you and me against the world, I'm cool with that too. After all, who needs a sidekick when you've got a purr-fectly wonderful human like you?
So, dear potential best friend, what do you say? Ready to add a dash of Boris magic to your life? I promise, with me around, every day will be filled with laughter, love, and plenty of silly antics. I can't wait to meet you and embark on this adventure together!
With love and whisker tickles,
Boris 🐾

Medical notes
WORLDWIDE CAT VACCINE SHORTAGE
There is currently a worldwide shortage of cat vaccines and supplies are unlikely to be replenished until early 2024. This is due to complicated supply problems post-COVID. Our vets have limited, and in some cases no supplies available, but are prioritising kittens and previously unvaccinated Cats wherever possible.
Kittens are at the highest risk as their level of protection is very low after the initial protection provided by the mother’s antibodies. While protection will wane a little over time, a delay up to three months is unlikely to result in a significant reduction in levels of protection. It is anticipated that clinics should have regular supplies early in the new year to bring your cat back up to date.
First Vaccination completed
We will try to provide at least 1 vaccination, depending on our supplies of vaccines available, however boosters may become overdue. In this case it is your responsibility to contact your vet as soon as supplies become available. We will not be re-imbursing any of this costs.
We require all cats and kittens to be indoors only and not allowed outside. This is especially important now as there is a risk of coming into contact with unknown cats who may not be vaccinated.
No Vaccination completed
Where we are unable to provide any vaccination during their time in care with us, please contact us on 0459779888 or via email to samantha@neko.org.au, and we will arrange for one vaccination to be done at one of our partnering clinics as soon as supplies are available. Boosters after this will be your responsibility.
Please note that should you choose to utilise your own clinic, we will not be re-imbursing any costs. This is your responsibility.
