About Rockford
Introducing the charismatic Rockford!!
He is our longest resident at the Shelter, he's been with us since October 2023- He came to us severely underweight, he was just skin and bone.
Since then, Rocky has gained weight and is looking very handsome.
He's become a part of the furniture at the Shelter- but he desperately needs to find his forever home.
Our hearts break for him, he was treated poorly in his previous home. Has had no attention or socialisation to the world, except for the staff giving him much needed love and attention.
Because of this, he needs training. He's a young, mouthy, excitable staffy. He adores being around people, playtime is his favourite!
Despite his rough start, Rockford is the happiest boy. He does really struggle to settle in the shelter, because of this he has his own special place for him to relax in and not get overwhelmed by the Shelter environment.
He does love his outside time and settles really well in the backyard, 6 ft fencing is needed for this bouncy guy!
A single dog household would suit Rockford best, he does have dogs he enjoys a wrestle with but knowing how much training he needs the one on one attention would be much better for Rocky.
Dog savvy older kids would be suitable, he does just get overexcited and bouncy around people.
Lets please find Rockford his forever home, he deserves to be loved by his own people!
