Lewie will get you too, right in the heart.

Meet Lewie the wonder whippet. At just 10 months of age he is the perfect addition to your active home. Just like all whippets he’s quirky, silly and loves to invade your personal space. Unlike other whippet pups, he’s not destructive, not a barker and doesn’t show signs of anxiety. In fact he’s one chilled little pup.

He walks well in a harness, loves the car and other dogs. He has been living in foster care with a number of other whippets and even met the “big” foster brother (wolfhound cross) and thought it was amazing!

One small downside is that poor Lewie appears to have a sensitive tummy, or maybe just gold taste in food. His foster carer has tried a few combinations but it appears that homemade bone broth full of goodies is the best diet for him. The good news is, this is super easy and affordable to make.

Lewie’s ideal home would be any family. While he’s still a pup and learning his manners, young children may not be the best fit. Must have high fences, must be allowed inside, must be the centre of your universe and must be trained in a gentle manner.

Lewie is in foster care on the Central Coast, NSW. Lewie’s adoption fee is $1000. He has had all vet work complete and given an amazing bill of health. He’s desexed, vaccinated, wormed and treated for fleas and ticks.
