About Bear
Hi my name is Bear!
I am an 11 month old Border Collie mix boy! I am happy and energetic and love to go for runs with my doggy mates and spending time with my human friends.
I am pretty good at all the basics including sit and stay and I wait patiently for my dinner. I sometimes need reminding to not pull on leash but I'm experienced hands I walk on a loose leash. I am great with small humans but am a little too excited by cats. I am pretty good around the livestock and learned quickly that they are off-limits.
I am very good with all the dogs I am fostered with (large team of working dogs) from puppies to adult males and females but I can be a bit boisterous and get told off at times but I learn my place and will back off when told to settle down! I would be best placed with a dog that can keep up with my boisterous behaviour when playing.
I absolutely love my foster humans and love just hanging out with them down at the river (which I love swimming in and would love being in a home where my parents are around a lot because other dogs alone don't always cut it.
I love my foster parents so much that if I am left alone in an unsecured yard I tend to find a way out to go looking for them so a very secure yard or enclosure is a must.
If you are looking for a fun and playful pal and can provide me with the mental and physical stimulation required for my breed, then please apply! I can't wait to hear from you!
