Hulu

Hulu is a very happy, affectionate and loving bundle of joy.   He is likely to bond very close to those who he is drawn to and will be your shadow around the house.  Hulu loves tucking up in a warm bed and loves a good snuggle.  If you are looking for a buddy to snuggle up to, Hulu is your boy.  He is the ultimate lap dog.

Hulu loves going for his walks and will keep up with the best of them.  He walks nicely on the leash but like many dachshunds, he will bark at other dogs as he is a little scared and anxious of them - a vet behaviourist has been engaged to help with this and has Hulu on daily medication.  This has been best managed by walking at quieter times of day and avoiding busy areas like dog parks.  Hulus owners have engaged a behaviourist to help with this and they have seen an improvement.  We do think that Hulu would be happiest being King of his own Castle, that is no other dogs, cats or children under 10 years old.

Hulu loves playing fetch with a tennis ball.  Like most other dachies, Hulu loves any and all food, being especially partial  to having kangaroo mince and chicken liver for his dinner.

Hulu is VERY well toilet trained and always goes outside to do his business.

Hulu is a very affectionate and sensitive dog, often coming over to lick your face or sit on your lap if he senses you are upset.

If you can offer a quiet, calm sanctuary with an owner that is home more often than not, then Hulu would love to hear from you!

Interstate applicants are welome if you can drive approx halfway to meet Hulu.
