About Sun Bear
Sun Bear is a lovely natured 4 year old German Shepherd x who was surrendered to Pawfect Pals after her previous owner fell ill. She has only ever known a loving home and we can’t wait to find her the perfect forever home.
Sun Bear previously lived with kids, chickens and a cat, so she is well socialised and used to being around different creatures. She is also fine with other big dogs though isn’t a fan of some smaller dogs. She enjoys playing with her human foster brother (primary school aged) though may be a bit bouncy for very small children.
Sun Bear has the basics down pat, such as sit and drop. She is also good on lead and uses a head halti when going on a walk. Her recall is quite good, and she has learnt not to leave her property even when the gate is open. She is happy to relax at home on her bed while nothing is happening, and is fine when left alone. She is not overly active, enjoying a walk each day or just a good play with her people; she is always up for a play outside with a ball or the hose (she LOVES water!). At the end of the day, Sun Bear just wants to cuddle up on the bed or couch and watch a movie with you.
Overall, Sun Bear has so much love to give her people and will easily slot in to most living situations. If you love your Shepherds, Sun Bear could be your Pawfect match 🥰
