About Murphy
Murphy is an energetic, affectionate, and sweet 12 week old kitten looking for his forever home. He has a predominantly white coat with tabby markings on his face, head, back and tail. Murphy loves nothing more than spending time with his mum and getting back scratches and treats. He's not a fan of loud noises, bedtime or waiting for dinner time though!
When he's not running around energetically, Murphy likes to hide in small places. He loves getting pats from his humans and is good with kids too! Murphy has been socialised with 3 adult cats as well as other kittens so he gets along well with other pets too - although he hasn't interacted with any dogs yet.
Since being fostered in his current home, he's become very comfortable with humans and the resident cats.
Murphy would be perfect for someone who will love his curious but gentle nature. He is desexed, microchipped and has had his 1st vaccination. If you think you can offer him the ideal home he deserves, please fill out the adoption enquiry form at https://form.jotform.com/shellys.place.rescue/adoption-enquiry .
Adoption details
ADOPTION PROCESS:
1. An Adoption enquiry should be made via
https://form.jotform.com/shellys.place.rescue/adoption-enquiry
2. Once your application has been received, one of our volunteers will contact you for a phone interview. This is to determine whether one of our cats or kittens will be a good fit for your home. We all want long-term success in placing rescue animals, so finding the best fit for the animal AND the family is very important.
3. 'Meet & Greet' with the animal and their carer will then take place if the application is approved.
4. A property check will take place via a video. Once this has been successfully completed, adoption paperwork finalised and the adoption donation processed, the pet can be collected from foster care.
5. A 14 day settling-in period commences once the animal has been collected from foster care.
6. Adoption is finalised after 14 days. Paperwork/records will be included in an adoption pack.
7. All animals will be rehomed desexed, 1st vaccinated, microchipped and treated monthly for fleas and intestinal worms. Once the adoption is finalised, the new owners are responsible for all vaccinations and preventative treatments.
As we are run entirely of volunteers we endeavour to respond to your enquiry as soon as we can. Your patience is greatly appreciated.
PLEASE NOTE: We are unable to hold any animals. Please only apply if you are ready to adopt now.
