About Sidney
Meet Sidney, the canine queen of sass and the reigning diva of the doggy domain. This pint-sized powerhouse is a four-legged force to be reckoned with, boasting a personality as fiery as her fur. Sidney is no ordinary pup - she's a sassy, feisty, devilish darling who lives life on her own terms.
With a coat as sleek as obsidian and eyes that sparkle with mischief, Sidney exudes an air of confidence that demands attention. She struts through life with an undeniable swagger, and her every step is accompanied by the click-clack of perfectly manicured claws on any surface she deems worthy of her royal presence.
Don't be fooled by her petite stature; Sidney's feistiness knows no bounds. She's not afraid to speak her mind, whether it's through a series of playful barks or a well-timed growl that lets you know she's not to be trifled with. Her devilish charm and mischievous grin only add to her allure, leaving everyone around her simultaneously enamored and on their toes.
Sidney is the undisputed queen bee of her social circle, always at the center of attention and quick with a side-eye that could rival any human's. She's got a knack for stealing the spotlight, whether it's by commandeering the comfiest spot on the couch or effortlessly executing a dramatic flop for belly rubs.
Beneath her sassy exterior, though, lies a heart of gold - well, maybe more like a heart of rose gold. Sidney may be a bit of a diva, but she's also fiercely loyal to those lucky enough to earn her affection. So, if you're ready for a doggy companion who's equal parts sassy and sweet, look no further than Sidney, the small dog with the big personality. Just be prepared to bow down to her canine charisma!
*Potential adopters should be aware that Sidney was unwell upon coming into care, she has gone from strength to strength in foster care but she has the potential to develop an issue with her elbow joint in the future*
Adopting a puppy is a big responsibility.
It's important to understand that training is just as important as providing food, water, and shelter for your new pet. Having an untrained puppy can lead to behavioral problems that can make the pup difficult to live with. Of course, having an obedient pup is much more rewarding for both pet and owner.
Training your puppy is a vital part of their development. Starting early is key, as puppies learn and adapt quickly. Training will help your pup understand commands and expectations. Furthermore, it will help socialize your pup, making them better equipped for interacting with other animals and people.
During puppyhood, you should focus on teaching basic commands like sit, stay and come. Consistency and repetition are key in training, and it is important to reward good behavior with treats and praise. This will help reinforce positive behaviors and discourage negative ones.
It is also important to provide your pup with plenty of exercise (once fully vaccinated). Not only will this help with physical development, but it will also help keep them mentally stimulated. This will help promote good behavior, as well as help your pup get rid of excess energy.
In addition to basic commands, you should also consider training your pup in more complex tasks. These can include tricks, agility, and even protection training. Not only will this help to sharpen your pup's obedience, but it can also be great fun for both of you.
Training your pup is an important part of preparing them for a happy and healthy life. It is important to start early and to be consistent in order to ensure success. With patience and dedication, you and your pup can learn to create a bond that will last for years to come.
So, if you're ready to welcome a pup into your life, consider adopting today. You won't regret it!

4 THINGS TO CONSIDER BEFORE APPLYING:
1. Time Commitment: Owning a dog is a big responsibility and requires a significant commitment of time and energy. Be sure to consider how much time you can realistically dedicate to caring for a dog and make sure you are prepared to make that commitment.
2. Cost: Owning a dog can be expensive. Make sure to consider the cost of food, medical care, toys, and other supplies. You may also want to think about enrolling your dog in obedience classes or hiring a professional dog walker.
3. Space: Depending on the breed, some dogs require a lot of space. Make sure you have enough room in your home and yard to accommodate a dog before making the decision to adopt.
4. Lifestyle: Think about your current lifestyle and how a dog may fit into it. Consider if you have any restrictions such as travel, work hours, or allergies. Also, think about how owning a dog may affect your social life.
