About Rex
This is Rex, a handsome black and tan Kelpie male.
He is an active boy who looks forward to getting out for walks and exploring. Rex understands when it’s time to relax and happily takes himself to the crate for some downtime, and does enjoy the occasional couch cuddle as a treat, although he respects the rules if not allowed up there. He is fully crate trained and will sleep quietly the whole night until let out.
He walks very well on the lead and has a solid recall. While he has his basic commands and manners down pat, he will be best suited to someone experienced with working breeds who will continue on with his training.
Rex gets along well with other dogs, including his foster sibling, and showed little interest when introduced to cats. He did however show a little more interest in chickens, but did not chase.
Rex is a sweet and adaptable dog who would suit a family with working dog experience, and could also suit a solo dog household given the right amount of exercise and attention.

To apply to adopt a dog from Dogs4Jobs, you must firstly complete our adoptions application form in full at http://dogs4jobs.com.au/adoption-form/.
You can also write out your answers and email them to dogs@dogs4jobs.com.au
*Please note, due to the high volume of applications received, we will not respond to Petrescue chat messages, or enquiries to adopt a dog. You must complete our adoptions form to be considered for the dog or pup, and we will respond to this form via our email.
We will then request to complete a yard check, or for you to send in photos of your yard showing the fencing, space, shelter and any hazards etc, to confirm it is safe and secure, as well as adequate space for a working breed dog.
Following this, we will then put you in touch with the dog/s foster carer/s that you are interested in, to chat further over the phone, about whether the dog is a good fit for your family, and vice versa. We are searching for the perfect match for each dog and their needs. We offer interstate adoption on all of our dogs.
