Meet the wonderful Winifred, Winnie for short.

Winnie is a sweet girl with a lot of love to give. While she is still settling in, she may take time getting used to your pats and being picked up, but she is a very affectionate cat and loves to spend time with her humans, whether it's snuggling up with them in bed, giving endless headbutts or playing with her favourite toy - the feather wand.

Winnie also loves to chat and has a very impressive feline vocabulary, she will tell you all about her day when you come from work (and will let you know when it's dinner time).

Winnie would love a home where she can be spoilt safely indoors and with an understanding family that will allow her to keep growing in confidence and reach her smoochiest potential. She would be best suited to high school age children or above, and might benefit from a home with another cat around to show her the ropes - she has met another cat in foster care and would have been keen for a feline friend if the feeling had have been mutual! When she is comfortable, she is much less fussy with who she spends her time with - even opening up to strangers visiting the home!

Winnie is part of the Adoption Ambassadors Program, which means she can be adopted from her foster home without having to return to the shelter. If you would like to meet Winnie, please get in touch to arrange a meet and greet at her foster home in Brunswick East.
