About Mustang
MUSTANG was born in a litter and unfortunately all his brothers and sisters are adopted and he is still wondering why he hasn’t found his forever home. He is such a good boy! He’s excelled by walking off lead, listens to commands, is super relaxed, doesn’t bark, and is super gentle with cats and kids. He has shown zero aggression while in care.
MUSTANG is a Staffy x Border Collie born 27 Sept 2023 as part of the Car litter. Mum (tan) and Dad (brown and white) are pictured above. He is stunning, with tan and black marking, he looks like he has tiger stripes amongst his fur.
Though not born in our care, Mustang and his litter mates received all the nurturing and attention one could hope for. Mustang will fit into most family homes with his super relaxed personality.
As you can see from the photos, Mustang is thriving! He is an inquisitive, affectionate and contented boy, hitting all his developmental milestones and proving to be a delight in every way. Mustang is great with little kids, cats and dogs of all sizes.
Mustang has grown into a medium sized dog, probably a smaller version of a medium sized dog, but he may be still growing a little more. He loves being around his people the most, often seen lazing around where he can see them. He also enjoys cuddles from family also coming indoors for some extra pats.
Secure fencing is a must as always. He is good with cats and dogs however having such a relaxed personality we don’t think he’ll be phased if his owners had other pets. He mostly loves his humans the most and would love to just be with them.
Mustang is one of the easiest foster dogs we have experienced. He has done no wrong and with his relaxed personality he’s happy to just be around you.

Adoption details
Dogs:
The first step in our adoption process is to complete the online adoption application form at https://southerndownsark.com.au/apply-to-adopt/ This is a mandatory step and you are encouraged to answer all questions and provide photos of your yard and fencing.
All applications will be considered by our Adoption Team, following which a "meet and greet" will be offered to the top-ranking applicant.
The "meet and greet" is held in Warwick, Queensland. If successful, the applicant may adopt the dog and take him or her home the same day.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
The rescue group has removed this pet and it is no longer available for adoption.
