About Bentley
This gorgeous young man is Bentley, a Staffy x Border Collie born 27 Sept 2023 as part of the Car litter. Mum (tan) and Dad (brown and white) are pictured above.
Though not born in our care, Bentley and his litter mates have received all the nurturing and attention one could hope for, and are growing into happy, playful, well-rounded young dogs.
He loves people big and small and is kid-friendly
He's very affectionate and smoochy (if someone wants a cuddly dog!)
Travels very well in the car (calm, patient)
Very social - would be happiest with someone at home with him or another dog for company (He can be a little anxious alone. he's really enjoying having a family)
Gentle and playful with cats (has been tested inside, off-leash with his foster carer's cats and is doing well)
Loves other dogs
Rarely barks
Very low maintenance and is a very well adjusted fella.
As you can see from the photos, Bentley is thriving! He is an inquisitive, affectionate and contented boy, hitting all his developmental milestones and proving to be a delight in every way.
Bentley, when fully grown will be a medium sized dog and given his breeding, will require plenty of opportunities for enrichment and space to play.
Bentley is currently in foster care but it's time for him to have a family of his own !!!
Secure fencing is a must as always, and having a companion around for most of the day will be highly regarded.
If you are interested in meeting this lovely pup and can offer him a suitable, safe and loving forever home, PLEASE COMPLETE THE ONLINE ADOPTION APPLICATION at https://southerndownsark.com.au/apply-to-adopt/ and one of our volunteers will be in touch.
Bentley is desexed, vaccinated and microchipped. He is also flea treated and wormed.
