NAME: Freddie

BEFORE RESCUE: Came to SAFE Esperance from the pound.

PERSONALITY: Confident, playful, talkative and extremely cute!

FAVOURITE THINGS: Playtime! Freddie loves to play with pretty much anything that moves and particularly enjoys his small soft toys that he can throw around. He loves to play with the other animals in his foster home and is particularly fond of the dog, who he often plays chasey with. Once he’s worn himself out he’s happy to lie next to you for a snooze before waking up and doing it all over again! He also enjoys grabbing hold of a human foot or leg and tagging along as you walk and loves his food, mealtimes are the best time of the day for him.

ENDEARING FEATURES: He has a ton of personality and loves to have himself heard!

OTHER ANIMALS: Freddie gets on well with the other animals in his foster home and has a great relationship with the dog. The adult cats do find him a little annoying at times as he constantly wants to play. He would be fine to live with other friendly cats or a cat-savvy dog after gentle supervised introductions.

ESSENTIALS for Freddie:

** A loving home where he’s given time initially to settle in and get comfortable, then gets plenty of attention but is treated gently. He would go well with cat-savvy, gentle children who will play and engage with him on a daily basis.

** Freddie needs to be kept as an inside only cat or have access to a secure outside cat run.

ADOPTION FEE – $325
Adoption fee includes vet check, sterilisation, first f3 vaccination, flea and worm treatment and microchip, including the transfer of ownership.

ADOPTION DETAILS

After applying, one of our SAFE coordinators will be in touch to arrange for you to meet with the cat/kitten or to talk to their carer for more information.

Our adoption process includes a two-week trial to ensure your chosen pet is the right fit for your home. After a successful trial period, SAFE Esperance will arrange transfer of ownership on your new pet’s microchip and email copies of their vet records out to you.
