✨🐣 EASTER ADOPTION FEE SPECIAL 🐣✨
💚🐙 MEET RIDDICK 🐙💚
Nature
Riddick is such a love bug! He wants nothing more than to smooch with you - your hands, your face, your feet! (Oh, that and food). He’ll sometimes stand on two legs to smooch your hand. He’ll sleep on the bed with you and will sometimes come under the covers if you’ll let him. He's talkative, purrs a lot, and loves “making biscuits”. He'll sometimes be in such a blissful state of purring and smooching that he dribbles a little, and may give you a gentle nibble (love bite) on the chin.
He’s obsessed with his food. He's playful and will regularly entertain himself by playing "zoomies", and also enjoys playing with a shoelace and toys he can throw around. He’ll also play on the bed when you’re trying to make it, pouncing on the sheets and trying to get under them. He enjoys being picked up and cuddled and will purr happily and smooch your face.
He's got the cutest little black "toe beans" on his otherwise all-white feet, so one of his nicknames is "Black Beans". He also has the nickname “Bobby” as he has a tail like a Bobcat. His tail was injured in the past and needed to be amputated by the vet. But that doesn’t bother him one bit and makes him a bit unique, don’t you think?
Companions (Children, Cats & Dogs)
He is comfortable with older children (his foster home has a 15-year-old). There are currently no other animals in his foster home and Riddick would need a home with no other cats. He does love his food though and gets a little protective, you could say he’s food obsessed!
Likes / Dislikes
He loves nothing more than being around his people for cuddles and smooches, and a good chat. His favourite sleeping spot is on a blanket on his foster parents' bed. When in the mood he can't resist playing with a shoelace dangled or dragged in front of him. He also enjoys tunnelling under blankets or sheets.
Riddick LOVES his food and so far has eaten any cat food offered to him (he's not fussy) plus the occasional human treat (any meat)!
He's a little unsure of new people initially and may run to a safe space (currently his foster parents' bedroom), but he will settle in quickly to new surroundings and rapidly make you his new hoomans!
My PURR-fect home would be in a family with adults or older children; people he can love and smooch with, and a comfy bed he can sleep on and share with his hoomans. Riddick is such a sweet kitty and would love to be your new companion! Will you be his hooman?
Perth Rescue Angels recommends all cats are indoor only, unless they have access to a secure cat enclosure.

Medical Notes: Riddick has epiphora which means an overflow of tears from the eyes. Normally, a thin film of tears is produced to lubricate the eyes and the excess fluid drains into the nasolacrimal ducts, or tear ducts, which are located in the corner of the eye next to the nose. The nasolacrimal ducts drain tears into the back of the nose and the throat. Epiphora is most commonly associated with insufficient drainage of the tear film from the eye. Most cats with epiphora will experience intermittent episodes throughout their life and it is likely that some degree of epiphora will persist despite all treatment efforts.
🐾 Perth Rescue Angels recommends Advantage and Advocate from Elanco Animal Health for all of your new furry family members’ flea and worming needs.
