- Children over 12 considered

- Only bird (in his enclosure) could be housed next to other birds

Meet old man George

As a senior citizen George was pretty shaken at having to move to the shelter. Sadly, due to some unavoidable circumstances his previous owner could no longer keep him and had to make the heart-breaking decision to rehome him. George has taken a couple of days to settle in but he is now ready to find his retirement home.

George has spent his whole life being an indoor bird, he will need a safe home inside where he can have a good fly outside his cage (with his owners supervision) and ideally someone who can be home to spend the time with him. He is very people social and not too interested in other birds, at his age introductions would be risky so we recommend housing him alone. George will happily sit on his owner all day if he could, but he is not a fan of scratches.
