About Galileo
“Scooby Doo” were the words excitedly shared by a group of carers who were picking up their foster dogs from transport when Galileo exited the van. This gorgeous boy is seriously a show stopper and is the perfect dog if you love that scooby doo look, but not the giant size!
Galileo came to us from a rural pound and his foster carers describe him as the most naturally obedient puppy they have ever fostered and the definition of a “good boy!”. He just slotted into their homes like he has always been there and hasn’t put a foot wrong since arriving. He loves everyone he meets and is a very affectionate young man who is always up for a snuggle. He absolutely loves couch cuddles and hopes his new family enjoys spending quality evening time with their pooch relaxing after a good adventure during the day.
Galileo (aka Leo) is a very smart boy and is learning basic training quickly. He knows how to sit and wait for his food and is toilet trained (with free indoor/ outdoor access). His leash skills are a work in progress, but his easy-going nature make him a joy to take out and about. He LOVES meeting new people out and about but is also respectful and always listens to his carers. Leo sleeps through the night and is happy to be home alone for a few hours here and there with another dog around for company. He travels well in the car and is very motivated by receiving adorning words, so training is a breeze… he LOVES to please! He is still young and Sydney life has been a big change for him, and although he has taken it all in his stride, he will need new owners who are committing to continuing his exposure to new places.
Leo is currently living with another large breed adult dog who is LOVES. They play really well together, and Leo will be up for a game whenever the resident dog is! He would do great in a home with another playful and friendly dog over the age of two to keep him company. He hasn’t been socialised with many dogs outside of foster care due to his young age and vaccination status, but the ones he has met he has interacted positively with. His new owners will need to continue his socialisation with other known, friendly dogs to ensure he grows up to be a friendly pooch.
Leo is also currently living with two children in the home and handles the chaos that comes with that brilliantly. He interacts well with the children and would be happy to share his forever home with kids as long as they understand appropriate interactions with dogs and are comfortable with a larger puppy. Leo will be a moderately active boy so is looking for a family who will walk him daily and take him on lots of fun adventures. Whether there is another dog in the home already, he will need a home with someone home more often than not due to his young age.
Leo is looking for a dog experienced family who will allow him inside to be part of the family and provide him a warm and comfy bed to sleep on inside of a night. He will need to be provided a good quality diet, continued training, and lots of fun outings.
If you are looking for an extremely cuddly, strikingly beautiful and exceptionally easy-going puppy, then Leo might be your boy. If you are missing a “good boy” in your life and would like Leo to fill that hole, fill out an adoption application form from our website and provide some information on the type of lifestyle you can provide our sweet boy.

This puppy will be adopted out under a desexing contract that will require the dog to be desexed by a given age. The cost of desexing will be included as part of the adoption fee. A $250 desexing bond will be payable in addition to the adoption fee and will be refunded upon proof of desexing. This process is further discussed with successful applicants.
Don't see a breed attached to one of our dogs? That's because we don't breed label dogs of unknown genetic history. We can't guess at breeds but that's okay, because we can tell you about the dog's individual personality, character, and behaviour.
