Hi there, I'm Barney,

I'm absolutely crazy about toys. I could play with them all day long, so be ready for endless playtime and fetch sessions! I'm a very social and affectionate little guy. All I want is to be around my hoomans, sharing love and cuddles.

I'm what you might call a "smooshy faced" doggy. It's important for me to wear a harness instead of a collar. This way, I'll be able to breathe comfortably and enjoy our adventures together. I'd also love a home with air conditioning or fans to keep me nice and cool!

I do best with older children. My friends at the suggested that I be separated from really small kiddies, so it's important that I meet any children at the time of adoption to make sure we're a good match. I'm open to having a furry friend at home, whether they're a boy or a girl. I'll need to meet them first to make sure we're a perfect match!

I'm still very much a puppy, and that means I'm learning and growing every day. I've got "sit" down, but there's so much more for me to discover. I'll need ongoing training and socialization to be the best dog I can be. I'm still working on my toilet training, so a little patience and understanding in this department will be greatly appreciated.

Secure fencing that goes all the way to the ground with no gaps to prevent any Houdini-like escapes would be great! I'd love to go for daily walks with you. It's a great way for me to burn off some energy and enjoy the outdoors, remember dusk or dawn are the best times for us smoosh faces to go touring around the neighborhood.

When you're not around, it's essential to keep me engaged. Licky mats are perfect for me, as they keep me entertained and help prevent boredom!
