About Murphy - Located in Endeavour Hills
Hey there, cool cats and curious humans! I'm Murphy, the feline sensation you've been waiting for. Picture this: a sleek and confident explorer with a dash of charm and a sprinkle of mischief. Yeah, that's me!
I live for the thrill of the zoomies, especially at the crack of dawn. I mean, who needs an alarm clock when you've got my energetic wake-up calls? It's not my fault if I can't resist a playful romp around the house. I've got toys to conquer and a scratching post that's practically begging for my attention. And let's not forget the window—my front-row seat to the birdie orchestra. I'm a furry voyeur, soaking in the sights and sounds of the great outdoors.
But here's the deal: I'm not just a wild child. I've got a heart of gold and a purr that could melt icebergs. If you're looking for an easy-going companion who knows how to turn on the charm, you've hit the jackpot. I'm impossible not to love, trust me. Just ask anyone who's had the pleasure of witnessing my majestic presence.
Now, let's talk about the real deal—I'm on the lookout for my forever home. Yep, that's right. I need a kingdom where I can reign supreme, basking in the glory of unlimited attention and affection. I'm talking head scratches, belly rubs, the whole nine yards. If you're ready for the purr-fect addition to your life, look no further. Murphy's the name, and love is my game. Let's make this forever home thing happen, shall we?
Murphy needs to be the only cat in the household.

WORLDWIDE CAT VACCINE SHORTAGE
There is currently a worldwide shortage of cat vaccines and supplies are unlikely to be replenished until early 2024. This is due to complicated supply problems post-COVID. Our vets have limited, and in some cases no supplies available, but are prioritising kittens and previously unvaccinated Cats wherever possible.
Kittens are at the highest risk as their level of protection is very low after the initial protection provided by the mother’s antibodies. While protection will wane a little over time, a delay up to three months is unlikely to result in a significant reduction in levels of protection. It is anticipated that clinics should have regular supplies early in the new year to bring your cat back up to date.
First Vaccination completed
We will try to provide at least 1 vaccination, depending on our supplies of vaccines available, however boosters may become overdue. In this case it is your responsibility to contact your vet as soon as supplies become available. We will not be re-imbursing any of this costs.
We require all cats and kittens to be indoors only and not allowed outside. This is especially important now as there is a risk of coming into contact with unknown cats who may not be vaccinated.
No Vaccination completed
Where we are unable to provide any vaccination during their time in care with us, please contact us on 0459779888 or via email to samantha@neko.org.au, and we will arrange for one vaccination to be done at one of our partnering clinics as soon as supplies are available. Boosters after this will be your responsibility.
Please note that should you choose to utilise your own clinic, we will not be re-imbursing any costs. This is your responsibility.
