About Pangaa
This gorgeous girl is Pangaa, a three-year-old Catahoula cross with a heart of gold.
Pangaa's name means 'beloved' in Tagalog, one of the main languages of the Philippines, and this girl would indeed make the most beloved, devoted companion for almost any family!
Catahoulas are known to be alert, energetic, affectionate and playful, and Pangaa demonstrates all these qualities in spades. She is fantastic with children, loves other dogs and is happy make friends with cats (see photos), but wouldn't be suited to a forever home with stock as she likes to chase them.
Pangaa has been well trained and knows how to sit, down, roll over, stay. She waits for 'ok' before eating. She's crate trained, enjoys going for drives (just not on very windy days, as this makes her car-sick), and happily jumps into the car on command.
Pangaa is an affectionate girl and would be best suited to a home where someone is around during the day to play and give lots of cuddles. She'd love to be an indoor-outdoor dog, and have a large yard to romp and play in, ideally with another canine!
As always, secure fencing is essential.
If you are interested in meeting this lovely girl and can offer her a suitable, safe and loving forever home, PLEASE COMPLETE THE ONLINE ADOPTION APPLICATION at https://southerndownsark.com.au/apply-to-adopt/ and one of our volunteers will be in touch.
Pangaa is desexed, vaccinated and microchipped. She is also flea and worm-treated.
