About Lexi - 18 Month Old Saint Bernard (Trial)
My name is Lexi.
Could I get any more beautiful? I am an 18 month old Saint Bernard and am looking for my future forever family, someone who can love me as much as I will love you.
I'm a loving, caring, funny and very affectionate girl, I love being with people and other dogs. I currently live with my 2 foster brothers, whom I love to play with out in the yard and steal their toys/balls and of course zoomies. I also live with my foster human brother and sister who are 13 and 14 years old, because I get a little excited at times, I'm not always aware of my size so I would be suited to a family with children over 8 years of age. I'm still untested when it comes to cats.
I love my daily walks, or generally being wherever you are, I do tend to pull when I see other dogs I want to play with, therefore I will just need continued training on the lead. I also love going in the car for a drive, even if it's a short trip to pick up the children.
Since I'm very much a people oriented kind of girl, I would love my new home to be where I can be part of your daily activities, I would love it even more if you worked from home. Someone who can be patient with me as I'm such a loving dog that if left alone I do become anxious and want to be reassured that you will not be leaving me for long. Despite my size I am very gentle with food which sometimes leads to being a fussy slow eater.
Due to my size I will require a large yard with appropriate high fencing, and preferably someone who has the experience and understanding of the needs for larger dog breeds.
No one has ever told me that big dogs cannot fit onto laps, I promise I will lean on you and give you the biggest cuddles, but I also need the same amount of love in return. I'm a typical Saint Bernard, I'm very watchful and follow you everywhere you go.
Lexi is in foster care in Lake Macquarie, NSW. She is not available for adoption interstate. Her adoption fee is $1500 and she is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, and microchipped.
