NOTE: You are unable to meet Roxii until/unless you have been notified that you are a successful applicant. An adoption cannot be approved unless you are able to come to the shelter to meet Roxii in person and bring any dogs you currently have with you.

What I need in my new home:
• Daily walks, trips to the park or beach, playtime in the backyard
• Further training with basic doggie manners
• To be allowed inside with my family
• A doggie playmate would be great, if not then lots of socialising with other dogs
• I like both friendly male and female dogs
• Secure Fencing, including no gaps or holes I could squeeze through (6ft Colorbond or equivalent)
• Lots of toys and mental stimulation – I love squeaky toys.
• A diet of good quality dry food to help keep my teeth clean
• Lots of love and attention
• I have previously lived with young children and I absolutely adore them, a home with kids would be my dream.
• I have also lived with a dog friendly cat previously.
• Being a social and playful pupper I would love to go to doggy daycare
• I have lots of energy so an active family is a must

Things that I don’t want in my new home:
• To be left alone in the backyard without any interaction
• Not to be allowed inside with my family
• Never to go on a walk or rides in the car
• Rabbits, guinea pigs or small animals as I may find them fun to chase.

My best features:
• Very playful
• Wiggle butt
• Highly food motivated
• Gentle & placid
• I have had some basic obedience training and am a generally well-mannered dog
• I love attention and having snuggles with my humans
• I walk well on lead
• Happy to hang out with other friendly dogs
• Social butterfly
• I appear housetrained
• I LOVE toys. I loving playing a game of tug-of-war or a game of chase, where you chase me with my toy and try to catch me.
• I love attention, hugs, kisses & head scratches
• Well mannered
• Exuberant & full of beans

Where I need to improve / Training required
• I need further training on my recall as I can ignore you if you're trying to call me back to you and I can be a bit bouncy - I love my food & toys so using them as a positive reward should make my training easier.
