Peanut is a sweet, gentle young soul who can be a little worried in new environments and when meeting new people! He has not had the best start to life and has likely never left his previous backyard, so his new owner needs to work on growing his confidence and having positive experiences when learning new things eg lead training. Continuing lead training in the home before going out to quiet low traffic areas is recommended as he can be a little worried walking in new environments. Peanut loves food, and squeaky toys which he may need to learn how to bring back!! He is open to being adopted by a family who he would like to meet at time of adoption, especially any young children. He may also be suited to sharing his home with a calm social playful female doggy friend who he would also like to meet before going home together. Dog parks or off lead areas are too overwhelming for Peanut.
