About Luxy
This girl has everything going for her. She's past the puppy chewing stage and is perfectly house-trained, she's a great little dog. Luxy ALWAYS has a smile on her face, she's pure delight and joy
Luxy adores a good run at the park and is fantastic with other dogs, she loves meeting everyone and treats all with the greatest respect. If there's water around she'll be in it having fun! She'd love a home with a willing playmate to keep her busy. She's been in foster care with two other dogs and has become best friends with the younger one, they play for hours and love a good knock-down wrestle.
Everyone thinks that she's sooo cute! She's a big hit at the park with all other dogs and people. There are two cats in her current foster home, one runs and she chases her... while the other doesn't and they are firm friends now. Therefore we think she needs a dog-savvy cat if she's to live with felines.
Being a young dog, she still loves her toys, especially if they're squeaky. She'll happily play on her own with them, tossing and fetching again and again. She also loves chasing a ball and returning it for another go.
If I sound perfect for you, please complete the short adoption application form in the attached link, please note this is the only way your application will be considered: https://homelesshounds.com.au/adopt/dogs
Medical notes
Luxy is desexed, microchipped and up to date with vaccinations and parasite control.
Luxy has a condition called Cerebellar Hyperplasia. Luckily she has the form that won’t get worse and she will live a normal lifespan. She doesn't do well with flights of stairs, so she will need a home with either none or only a few. She doesn’t require medication and is mentally normal. She does fall over sometimes when her long legs can’t keep up with the rest of her, she doesn’t seem to mind and just gets up and keeps running.
