Salem

Salem is the type of cat that leads people to believe that black panthers might actually exist in Australia. Ok… that may be a slight exaggeration but Salem is a BIG boy. He is by far the largest cat we currently have in the shelter. If you’re looking for a cat with the size and strength of a small dog Salem just might be your man.

Not only is Salem big in size but he also has a personality larger than life to match. He is a confident boy who needs boundaries set so he doesn’t become too dominant in his new home.

Salem is a curious and talkative boy who enjoys a chat hello when you walk past his enclosure. His black coat makes his big yellow eyes really pop begging you to pick him.

Due to his size and strong personality we think Salem would be better suited to a home without small children.
