Hi, my name is Merlot,

I had a hard start in life with my littermates when 12 of us were abandoned at a beach and left for days in the hot sun without food and water. Luckily we came to the RSPCA and were put into foster care. My foster family have 4 cats and we got on well with all of them. We have never reacted badly to a dog and love people. I am the more relaxed pup, loving to lie on my back and have my tummy rubbed and I am a big kisser - if you put me on your lap I will lick your chin to say I love you. I love water and will splash around in it. I enjoy playing with toys. I am walking well on a lead but need basic training since I am not yet sitting on command but do come when called most of the time!
