Nugget

Hi My name is Nugget, and I am a Maltese x Shih Tzu and I am 1 year and 1 month old!

I came into care due to personal reasons from my previous home.

My foster mum says I have to write a bio telling you about me ……… well okay here goes……….

My foster mum thinks I’m such a good boy, she tells me I have settled in nicely into the home and love life.

I currently have some human kids that I hang out with and I love it! I also love my foster mum and she has reminded me that when I am adopted I will fall in love with my new mum and I have to warn her that I will be her little shadow and follow her everywhere that she goes.

Nothing really bothers me too much, my foster mum calls me just a happy go lucky little guy who loves life.

I do love a car ride and walk excellent on my leash. I am happy to say hi to other furry friends that we pass along the way, however the crazy ones do frighten me a bit and I can give them a little growl. I do need a daily walk, otherwise my mum says a go a little crazy.

My foster family leave me home alone 3 days a week while they go out into the big world something about needing to earn the money for things. I don’t really like when they leave and do get a bit anxious, but I am learning that they do come home, and everything is back to normal again. Sometimes I move their things around the house when they are gone, just so they don't forget that I'm still here

So if I have to put my order in for what I am looking for in a home you betcha it’s with someone who is home more often than not, works from home, can take me to work with them – I would be a awesome assistant.

I am learning some basic commands, and can sit and shake! My foster mum is very patient and the treats she gives me are just delicious!

I am getting used to going outside to the bathroom, but sometimes I do forget and can have a little accident.

I am not tested on cats

I much prefer to be indoors most of the day so i can keep an eye everything that's happening.

I have a coat that requires grooming so please remember that is a life time commitment for me but the good news is in between grooms i will sit and let you brush me every day especially if you include a good back scratch!

Oh yeah need to chat about sleeping arrangements - just so you know, your bed is now my bed too.

I am a very cuddly little boy and love nothing more than sitting on the lap of those I love.
