Maggie (or Maggie Moo as she is affectionally known) cheated death twice! First, at the age of only 22 months, when she was rescued from the racing industry by Friends of the Hound. And the second time was when she was saved by the Animal Emergency ICU team due to tick paralysis. You might remember we reached out for donations to help cover her vet fees? Even while she was gravely ill all the vets and nurses said she was their very best patient and they all adored her.
Now Maggie Moo is determined to enjoy life to the fullest.
This sweet girl is active, happy and playful. She's a funny girl who makes her foster parents laugh every day. Maggie loves people and other dogs but can get very excited at times.
Maggie Moo adores food so training with treats is the way to go. She knows her name and will come running when called.
Maggie Moo loves going out on walks. She's learning how to walk on a lead. She is house trained and sleeps soundly all night. Come morning, she's up and ready for a play. Maggie Moo loves loves loves toys and is always trotting around the house and garden with one in her mouth. Maggie Moo is not a fan of being left home alone but if you are looking for a hound that you want to include in all your activities and to follow you everywhere, then Maggie Moo could be the girl for you.
