Big beautiful boy Tofu is ready to make your acquaintance!

This sweet boy is a gentle giant and quite nervous here in the shelter, so we'd love for him to find his forever home as soon as possible.

Tofu is only a baby and hasn't had a lot of training yet, so he'd love if his new family could help him learn how to be a big clever doggo and learn all things about life! He has already learnt how to sit and absolutely LOVES treats, so we think he'd be a star student at training school.

Tofu has let us know that he may happy to share his new home with another doggy friend. It's important that Tofu has slow, gradual, positive introductions to new dogs. If you have another doggy friend at home, please bring them to the shelter for a meet & greet, so Tofu can see if they will be his new best friend!

Tofu isn't a huge fan of walking on his lead, but with some dedicated training and encouragement, we believe this clever boy will have it down pat in no time.

Tofu is best suited to go to a home with secondary school aged children or older, as he can be a little bit unsure if he is over-handled and needs his new family to take their time and allow him to warm up and feel safe.

Tofu is a big sweetheart and very loved by his friends here at the shelter. He loves attention and snuggles and can't wait to curl up in his new forever home and receive all the pats and cuddles in the world.

As Tofu is a young german shepherd, his breed requires lots of mental and physical stimulation. We would love for Tofu to go to a home with an active lifestyle where he will get lots of walks and playtime.
