About Digby
This sweet German Shepherd cross Siberian Husky is just beautiful... just look at his beautiful eyes.
Loving nature who loves being around people and would be ideal for someone who is looking for a best friend they can take to work, take camping, head off on a road trip with, go out on a hike and so much more... Digby is up for anything as long as he is by your side.
Being such a young pup still he would benefit from heading off to some puppy training classes with you to learn how to be a good by why doing all the exploring that you will both be getting up to. Doing puppy training will also help with having Digby around other dogs and people as he just love both of those together.
While he is hanging out at BARC with us he is in a play group with 2 other dogs that he is just loving!
They are all running around together having the best fun so he would love to be able to keep up play dates with friends dogs and even his own four legged friend that he can play with in his very own yard!
Digby came to BARC as a stray and was never reclaimed! This means we don't know much about his back ground but we believe he would be awesome in a home with kids who are use to bigger dogs as he just adores people.
Digby is awesome to walk on lead and just wants to please you when he is around you.
To book a meet and greet with Digby please phone 5441-2209 or email barcreception@bendigo.vic.gov.au . Due to the high volume of emails received, enquiries with a request for a specific appointment with phone details included will receive a response as priority over generic applications which state they are interested in meeting an animal.

Adoption details
BARC adoption officers will work with you to help you find a dog or cat that matches your needs, they will discuss things like yard fencing, exercise requirements, other pets and family members, lifestyle factors, and breed experience. To help make this as quick and easy as possible, we ask you complete and adoption questionnaire (located on our website, or you can complete on when you visit). This helps ensure that we are introducing you to the most suitable animals we have available.
We encourage all members of the household to attend a meet and greet with a pet prior to adopting an animal. If the animal being adopted is a dog, we will also require existing dogs in the household to attend the shelter as part of the meet and greet.
Holds can not be placed on animals over the phone, and can only be applied at the discretion of management.
