Clyde - 9 Week Old Dachshund X (Trial)

Clyde is 3.3kg of personality. This short little man is the absolute best of both breeds (we think he may be Dachshund X Kelpie). Smart, Smart Smart! He is already using the doggy door, is learning to sit for a treat and will wee as soon as his feet hit the wet grass. He is independent and confident and is a perfect blank canvas with all the makings of a great companion.

If you are looking for a couch buddy, someone to laze away the days with, then keep scrolling - Clyde is NOT for you.

He loves food and wants to learn and be rewarded for learning. He is always on the go and wants to know what’s next and he wants to explore everything. His ideal forever home will have time for an active smart dog.

His exact heritage is not known, but he has slightly longer legs than a snag and decent sized feet so our best guess is he will grow into a short Kelpie height with the Dachshund face?? Oh and that gorgeous long snag body.

Clyde is great with his foster siblings and understands all the usual social cues from the other dogs.

Clyde sleeps inside the house, in a crate with his siblings all night long without stirring. His forever home will need to give him inside access to the house.

Clydes ideal forever home will:
• Have time and willingness to train a smart active dog
• Live an active lifestyle and want a dog to join them
• Understand that he is still very much a pup and understand that he is still learning house training and will chew things
• Have a secure yard with room for him to do plenty of zoomies

Clyde is in foster care in Fletcher, NSW and his adoption fee is $700.

As Clyde is not yet desexed, he is only available for adoption to Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Central Coast and Port Stephens areas because he will need to be returned to a DRN approved vet for desexing when he is 6 months old. Please NO out of area applications.
