About Bonnie - 9 Week Old Dachshund X (Trial)
What a stunner! Bonnie and her brother Clyde will steal your heart!
Bonnie is a soft, gentle sweet little girl. If you’re looking for Bonnie you will find her curled up on your visitors lap. Her kind eyes will melt your heart.
Whilst her exact heritage is unknown, her legs are short and her nose and body are long. (We think she may be Dachshund X Kelpie)
Bonnie is great with her foster siblings and understands all the usual social cues from the other dogs. She is playful and vocal. She is a happy, healthy well balanced pup.
Bonnie sleeps inside the house, in a crate with her siblings all night long without stirring. Her forever home will need to give her inside access to the house and absolutely welcome her as one of the family.
She has mastered the doggy door and is learning toilet training and to come to her name.
Bonnie’s ideal forever home will:
• Have time and willingness to train a puppy
• Live an active lifestyle and offer Bonny walks and stimulation
• Understand that she is still very much a pup and that she is still learning house training and will chew things
• Have a secure yard with room for her to do plenty of zoomies
• Bonnie may benefit from another dogs company. So if you have another doggo that will be lovely
Bonnie is in foster care in Fletcher, NSW and her adoption fee is $700.
As Bonnie is not yet desexed, she is only available for adoption to Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Central Coast and Port Stephens areas because she will need to be returned to a DRN approved vet for desexing when she is 6 months old. Please NO out of area applications.

PLEASE NOTE: When applying for our dogs and puppies, please ensure to list the name of the dog you wish to adopt. Please do NOT just list the reference number or the microchip number as this will delay your application reaching the correct foster carer.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to fill in our online Adoption Questionnaire:

(2) If the questionnaire is approved we will arrange a property check so we
can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've applied for.
(3) After that we will arrange for you to meet the pet, usually at the foster
carer's home, nearby park or your home.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family
member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
