About Arty & River
Hi, Arty & River here, we are a two year old bonded pair, brother and sister Border Collie siblings who can come to you as a package and boom - instant family. We have always been together and do not like being away from each other so its a 100 percent duo adoption deal.
Arty is the male, he is the stronger more outgoing personality, more easily ready to trust humans and other dogs. River is the female and is a little shy and timid with humans but once introduced properly she will come in close for pats and eventually climb up on you for cuddles.
Both are house trained and are both learning to walk on lead properly and get used to suburban noises, traffic and the multitude of smells that the burbs offer them every day. River can startle with loud noises and has tried unsuccessfully to jump a fence to escape the noise. Needless to say, their adopter will require strong and high fencing to prevent such an escape from happening.
An older family or couple would be suitable for this duo who will need your experience and expertise to reach their full potential with training and socialisation. They both love to explore and play with other dogs, play tug games and have been learning how to sniff out stuffed Kongs and treats hidden around the garden. Its certainly shown that they are truly intelligent and both are problem solvers with learning how to open things to obtain their reward.
Both Arty and River settle easily at night and are crate trained to get used to new environments whilst being protected. They are not destructive and do respond very well to commands. Arty has shown excellent recall but River still has a way to go before she trusts humans enough to come to them freely.
These two are of the large breed size in BC's with Arty having a traditional fluffy coat and River a more sleek smooth coat.
This duo would give any house an instant happy family that is without any doubt going to bring joy and happiness. If you are looking for a Border Collie, please consider this beautiful duo as your welcome addition.

vaccinations etc, is this a problem?
~I will also need flea and worm treatments to keep me at my
optimum health, are you prepared for that?
~I've had a diet since being at the rescue of quality biscuits & raw, can you
guarantee to continue my current diet?
~ I am a good 10-20 years commitment are you 100% ready to
give me a home?

~A yard check or photographic proof of secure fencing, shelter & sleeping areas
will be required.
