About Maya
*In foster care in Petersham, Sydney*
Meet Maya, an adorable sweetheart looking for her forever home! With her soft white fur (save a small grey patch on her head) and stunning green eyes, she'll capture your heart in an instant.
This petite bundle of joy loves food, treats, and playtime with her toys and humans. She has a loud, expressive sniff when she explores, like a little sniffer dog :) Maya is not just a cat; she's a loving companion who enjoys snuggling on the bed or sofa, purring contentedly in your company!
Despite her challenging start, Maya has overcome malnutrition and infections, emerging with a clean bill of health and a resilient spirit. Now, she's ready to shower her future family with endless love and affection. If you're looking for a loyal feline friend who'll brighten your days with purrs and playful antics, Maya is the perfect match. Give her the loving home she deserves, and you'll gain a forever friend for life. Adopt Maya today and let the purrfect moments begin!
Like all Maggie's pets, Maya is microchipped, desexed and vaccinated.

MY IDEAL HOME: ... will be fairly quiet, with one or two people who can provide a calm and loving environment. I'm open to making furry friends, but if I'm the only cat in the household, you'll need to spend lots of time playing with me too!
MY ENERGY LEVEL: I'm still squarely in my kittenhood, so I adore zoomies and playtime with my toys before crashing out to recharge.
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: Older kids (ideally 10+) with cat experience will be best, as I can get spooked by loud noises and hate being chased.
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: I've not met any dogs at this stage so that's hard to guess, but I think I'd really enjoy having a kitty sibling or two to play and bond with!

Our foster carer will contact you when we receive your application to arrange a time for you to meet with their foster pet.
We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two-week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
Please consider, that a Maggie's Pet is a pet for Life, before adopting.
