About Candy - Located in Westmeadows
Hello, lovely humans! I'm Candy, your dose of whimsy wrapped in a beautifully soft dilute tortie package. Imagine a silver coat with little flecks of gold and apricot—it's basically a fashion statement in fur form.
Sure, I might be a bit shy at first, but who isn't in this big, wide world? I like to take my time, soak it all in, and when I feel safe, oh boy, it's playtime! Toys are my jam, and my purr game? Loud and proud. I strut around like I own the place, inviting you to experience the luxury of patting my silky silver coat.
Let's talk about my eyes—gorgeous almond windows to my soul that will straight-up melt your heart. I call it my secret weapon for getting extra treats and snuggles.
Now, I haven't had the chance to mingle with dogs and kids, but slow introductions are my specialty. Whether you want me as the solo star or part of a multi-cat ensemble, I'm up for the adventure.
If you're curious about this sweet little kitten who brings a touch of magic to your life, whisk yourself over to my foster home in Westmeadows. Let the enchanting meet-and-greet begin! 🌟🐾

WORLDWIDE CAT VACCINE SHORTAGE
There is currently a worldwide shortage of cat vaccines and supplies are unlikely to be replenished until early 2024. This is due to complicated supply problems post-COVID. Our vets have limited, and in some cases no supplies available, but are prioritising kittens and previously unvaccinated Cats wherever possible.
Kittens are at the highest risk as their level of protection is very low after the initial protection provided by the mother’s antibodies. While protection will wane a little over time, a delay up to three months is unlikely to result in a significant reduction in levels of protection. It is anticipated that clinics should have regular supplies early in the new year to bring your cat back up to date.
First Vaccination completed
We will try to provide at least 1 vaccination, depending on our supplies of vaccines available, however boosters may become overdue. In this case it is your responsibility to contact your vet as soon as supplies become available. We will not be re-imbursing any of this costs.
We require all cats and kittens to be indoors only and not allowed outside. This is especially important now as there is a risk of coming into contact with unknown cats who may not be vaccinated.
No Vaccination completed
Where we are unable to provide any vaccination during their time in care with us, please contact us on 0459779888 or via email to samantha@neko.org.au, and we will arrange for one vaccination to be done at one of our partnering clinics as soon as supplies are available. Boosters after this will be your responsibility.
Please note that should you choose to utilise your own clinic, we will not be re-imbursing any costs. This is your responsibility.
