I'm Toby, and I'm on the lookout for a cozy spot to call my own. I've got this affectionate personality that just can't be contained, and I'm ready to share it with someone special.

You see, I'm a bit of a couch potato, a cheeky fellow with a sensitive soul, loyal to the core. Playful? Oh, you bet! I'm a love overload waiting to happen, a gentle cuddle bug who knows how to make your heart melt.

Now, let me tell you about my favourite things – cuddles (top of the list, of course), going for a walk, and, well, eating food. Who doesn't love a good meal, right?

I've got a little quirk that makes me stand out – I purr when I cuddle. Yep, you read that right. Purring isn't just for cats, you know!

Let me walk you through a typical day in my life. It kicks off around 7 AM with some scratches and cuddles, a quick backyard break, and a delicious kibble breakfast. Then, it's all about lounging until the weather warms up. After that, I'm outside, soaking up the sun, chasing away those pesky birds. And did I mention the kangaroo rib I get to chew on? It's a highlight, let me tell you. Evenings are special. I get my wet food and a walk, then it's lap time, where I get to shower you with affection.

Speaking of affection, I express it by jumping with excitement, wagging my tail, going in circles. My tail practically has a mind of its own, especially when I see you. I love as much time with my human as possible.

Now, what makes me tick? Well, I'm an indoor dog who enjoys access to a backyard, no other pets, and a calm household where I can be someone's full-time companion. My humans must be patient and keen on continuing my positive reinforcement training. I looove treats, so bring a few snacks when you meet me. I wouldn't mind a rural environment, either.

And did I mention I'm fully house-trained? I can hold it in for 10 hours, so no midnight bathroom breaks for me! I also have the cutest quirk that I like to do a mini handstand while toileting!

I've come a long way – from being a bit on the heavy side to a slim, coat-shining doggo. Oh, and did I mention I love baths? Yep, count me in for that spa treatment.

Toby's previous owner's health declined, and they could not continue caring for him, so he is now searching for a new home.

To support Toby's new family in transitioning him into his new home, there's a handover visit with a trainer. The cost of this session is included in his adoption fee.
