About Rosie - 9 Month Old Shepherd X
Rosie is a sweet-natured, affectionate and loyal girl who can’t wait to meet her new family.
She loves to cuddle up close and give you all of her love. If you are looking for a dog love-match - she is all for you.
She has perky ears, beautiful coat colouring and happy and kind face, which often gets comments by passers by.
A quick learner, she has shown good progress in her training. She is eager to please, treat orientated and will benefit from a family willing to continue her training.
Rosie has been crate trained in foster care and sleeps soundlessly overnight.
She is fully toilet trained and will use the dog door to come and go in as she pleases.
She walks well on the lead, but can get excited and pull when passing other other doggy friends. Rosie has also shown that with further consistent training, she will have excellent recall. A daily walk is a must, and she travels very well in the car to go on adventures to the beach, bush walks and cafes.
She enjoys playing with most dogs, but because of her boisterous and energetic play style, she is best with one on one play dates with other energetic dogs. A similar energy dog would be great for Rosie as a sibling, especially if living with full time workers, but she is okay as an only dog if given enough love and attention, and is okay left on her own for part time workers.
Rosie loves playing with children, but is best suited to a home with teenagers and adults, and she is still learning her manners when excitable.
Rosie has been an absolute delight in foster care, and she will make a wonderful addition to the right family.
A recap on Rosie's ideal home:
- Active family who like to walk and take her on adventures
- With another energetic dog or can be an only dog (no cats or pocket pet)
-Teenage and adult household
-Understanding that Rosie is still young and learning, and committed to teaching her
-Minimum 5ft secure fencing.
Rosie's adoption fee is $600. She has been desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, and is microchipped. Rosie is in foster care in Newcastle area, NSW.
