About Faith STA011629
Meet Faith, a curious and playful lady with a heart full of potential. Faith came from a challenging situation and is seeking a family who can give her the love, patience, and space she needs to truly thrive. Despite her initial trust issues, Faith is an explorer at heart and is keen to discover the world around her at her own pace.
Faith is a very adventurous feline. Once she becomes comfortable in her environment, you'll often find her following her humans around, her curiosity leading her into every corner of the home. Her playful side is sure to bring a smile to your face, as she finds joy in the simplest of toys and games. However, it's important to note that Faith does not enjoy direct human contact yet. Rather, she appreciates having the freedom to roam and grow confident in her surroundings.
Faith would benefit greatly from a confident feline friend who can show her the ropes and help her understand that humans can be trusted. She loves her food, and mealtime can be a perfect opportunity to bond with her and build that much-needed trust.
In the right environment, with a caring and patient family, Faith has the potential to become a loyal and delightful companion. If you're ready to provide a loving, patient home for a cat who truly deserves it, Faith could be the perfect addition to your household.
Adoption details
Simply note the ID number and the cats name and visit our hostel at 200 Elder Street in Greensborough. Alternatively you can call the hostel on 8457 6500. We are currently open Mon-Fri 10am-4pm / Sat-Sun 10am-3pm.
You should bring proof of your current address and preferably photo identification such as your driving license. You can only adopt a cat for yourself we do not allow animals to leave with third parties. If you are wishing to adopt a cat as a present for someone, bring them with you as cats are individuals and bond with different people in different ways, the cat you may choose, may not choose your friend! It is also important to allocate time for adoption and we recommend you allow at least a couple of hours to get to know the cat and do the necessary paperwork.
When you visit you will get to meet the cat and as this is a very important decision for both you and the cat you choose we will want to ensure the two of you are compatible and that you understand what will be involved in taking the cat into your home.
We will want to be satisfied that you are prepared to be a responsible pet owner. Responsible pet owners at the most basic level, have their pets registered, micro-chipped and de-sexed unless they are registered breeders. They also understand the issues involved in being able to properly care and take responsibility for the welfare of their pets. Most Councils in Victoria have limits on the numbers of cats you may own without a permit. It is important to check with your Council if you already own the limit and obtain a permit for the extra cat before adoption. We will require to see your permit.
We will answer any questions you have regarding cat care and help you to obtain any support you may need.
