About Ghost
Introducing this absolute heartbreaker Ghost
Ghost is a stunning 2 year and 2 month old beautiful Australian Bulldog
Please let us take this moment to introduce you to Ghost. A gorgeous boy who’s beautiful face will have your heart melting when you see him.
Ghost came into care from the pound and has absolutely blossomed in care. His foster mum and dad have shown him how to be a beautiful boy with lovely manners and taught him that the world is at his feet and his furever home is out there just waiting for him.
Ghost came into care and at the beginning no one was interested in fostering him. We still bounced him from the pound and with that heartbreakingly beautiful face, his foster mum and dad stepped up and took him in.
Ghost had some skin issues (as most bulldogs do) when he first came into care but on a good diet, regular washes and the comfort of the couch (and his humans bed) Ghost has shown just how much of an amazing boy he is.
Ghost is a big baby whose favorite thing is to sleep, spend time with his humans cuddling and then maybe a play.
Since in care Ghost has learnt how to play, sit, paw, and kiss and also how to be tucked into bed by his foster mum. With that baby face how could you not.
Ghost's foster mum and dad have really shown him what it's like to be loved and looked after and it’s now time for Ghost to find his furever home.
Ghost is currently a single dog but does have some socialization with small dogs (he doesn’t get along with anyone his size or bigger). Ghost is a gentle old soul in so many ways so he would love an only dog home or a home with another dog that is small may be okay too.
Ghost's personality can only be described as sweet and loving. He loves his humans more than anything and has really found his own little personality.
Ghost’s foster mum says he is incredibly gentle and well-mannered around children of all ages (preferably 5 years old and above) as the really little ones can give him a bit of a fright.
Ghost would absolutely love a home where his family is either able to work from home or be at home with him - chilling and giving him cuddles.
Ghost spends his time inside (with access to outside) and is always inside at night (on a bed or the couch) and we would like this to continue in his new family home.
Ghost's idea of heaven is being able to interact with his family – inside and outside the house.
Ghost is fully toilet trained, understands commands and is a pleasure to walk on a lead.
Ghost is not friendly with cats.
Ghost loves nothing more than at night time being in the house with his family - having belly rubs, licking their hands to soothe himself and some cuddles in his humans bed before being tucked into his own bed for the night.
Ghost has so much love to give and any family would be lucky to have him part of their lives. He truly is one special boy.

Once an adoption enquiry is completed our admin team will assess the application and if successful we will arrange for a meet and greet to be completed. We may also request photos of your yard for consideration of your application. Please note that we will do no more than 3 meet and greets per dog.
Approved applicants will be contacted to arrange a time for a meet & greet via email. You must bring your current dog along to the meeting if you are meeting another dog/puppy, this is to ensure they get along before commencing adoption - proof of your dogs up-to-date vaccination is required before any meet and greet is arranged.
Our adoption fee must be cleared in our bank account before any animal is available for pick up. Please note we bank with ANZ - any other bank may take 48 hours to process the monies.
Paw Prints Canine Rescue has a 10 day trial period – this basically means that if for any reason the adoption does not work out and the dog needs to be returned to us, the adoption fee minus an admin fee (minimum is $100) will be returned to the adoptees via bank transfer within 7 working days.
Please note that if an interstate adoption needs to be returned or regional adoption all transport cost with be paid by the adopter.
Please also note while this can be a very exciting time for everyone, it can also be an overwhelming time for dogs and we ask that you do try and allow your new family member to settle in their new home and adjust
INTERSTATE ADOPTIONS **
Any transport costs are to be paid by the adopting family, however we can assist you in helping with transport to airports etc.
** Please note some of our dogs are not available for interstate adoption
