About Alfie
"Sir Alfred" has been in emergency foster care for 3 weeks now and is now living it up in style. But Alfie requires his own foster to adopt family.
Alfie is a bully with an old soul. He loves romantic walks through Bunnings, weekend drives with the window down and the wind in his hair, walks on the beach, cuddles on the couch and snoring through movies.
Like a true gentleman, Alfie is easy to walk and stops and make sure you are ok.
Alfie is housetrained and friendly with everyone. At present he is happy to be around children 5 years and over.
Alfie interacts friendly with other dogs but would like his humans all to himself.
Alfie suffers from separation anxiety, if you love a shadow, having cuddles, sharing the couch or happy for a supervisor to you mowing or just pottering in the yard. Then Sir Alfie is your man. ❤️
Alfie would need someone to be home most of the time who is willing to work with his separation anxiety.
Medical notes
Like a true bully however, Alfie does come with some health issues that we are working on:
Separation anxiety, skin issues and dry eyes. All which require medication.
Adoption details
VBTR places all dogs in a foster care agreement, before moving forward on adoptions. All foster applications received will be assessed and those that meet the needs of the dog will have house & suitability checks. From there, approved applicants will have the opportunity to foster with a view to adopt. Most go onto be ‘foster fails’ and adopt these beautiful bullies. VBTR work tirelessly to ensure successful foster to adopt placements for the benefit of both dogs and humans alike! Bully Buddies are assigned to every dog support this process.
